Terms and Conditions

Event space will only be held tentatively for 14 days, from the date tentative booking is place.

1. Confirmation of booking is accepted when signed terms and conditions received along with deposit of $300.00.
   
   
2. Deposits are non-refundable
   
   
3. A surcharge of 2% applies for payments made by diners or American Express
   
   
4. The client agrees to beginning and conclude the function by scheduled times. Failure to vacate the function area by set conclusion time will incur a labour surcharge of $200.00 per hour or part thereof.
   
   
5. Sammys may exclude or remove any persons from event or premises, and may terminate your event if Sammys believes that your event is not being conducted in a lawful manner
   
   
6. Organisers are financially responsible for any damages sustained to Sammys by the organiser, guests or any persons attending the event. We will not accept liability for loss or damage to any item whilst on our property.
   
   
7. Materials may only be displayed on walls with blutac and must be removed at conclusion of event.
   
   
8. Sammys will not supply trolleys, staff to assist with the delivery or removal of any equipment unless prior arrangements have been made. Any items that have not been collected after the event will be disposed within 48 hours
   
   
9. Sammys reserves the right to assign another area for the organised function in the event the room originally booked is inappropriate or unavailable in the opinion of Sammys.
   
   
10. As per the Liquor Licensing Act 1997, section 113, liquor must not be supplied to persons under 18 years of age. As per the Liquor Licensing Act 1985, section 115A, it is an offence to supply liquor to a person who is intoxicated. Sammys will uphold these regulations under all circumstances
    
    
11. In the event of any beverages being left unattended, they will be removed from the tables.
    
    
12. Sammys waivers responsibility for, theft, damage or loss of any goods brought into the premises.
    
    
13. Every endeavour is made to maintain the event as originally quoted, however, this is subject to alteration. The client will be advised accordingly, as soon as possible.
14. Floor Plans and seating arrangements are also subject to alteration. The client will be advised accordingly, as soon as possible.
    
    
15. Menu and beverage selection must be completed at least two weeks prior to the function.
    
    
16. Sammys accepts no responsibility for any damage or personal injury incurred from the use of audiovisual equipment or any other equipment brought into the property.
    
    
17. All quoted pricing is current at time of printing and is subject to change at the discretion of Sammys.
